Saturday 1 September 2012:- The Annual Moreton-in-Marsh Country Show takes place on the first Saturday of September.
The Show is a traditional one day Agricultural and Horse Show and the leading agricultural event in the County.
The site is old permanent pasture in a parkland setting. There are no permanent show buildings which means the Show is built up in the traditional way with marquees and hurdle pens giving a true country show atmosphere.
Competitions are held for horses, ponies, cattle [including the National Show of Poll Hereford cattle], sheep [including the National Show of Cotswold Sheep], goats, poultry, dogs, homecrafts, flowers, vegetables and even scarecrows.
Around 250 tradestands provide everything from a tractor to a toy and a wide selection of food and drink – both to eat at once and to take home.

For Adults and children of all ages. Birdland is set in Seven acres of woodland and gardens, inhabited by over 500 birds, flamingos, pelicans, penguins and cranes, 50 aviaries, also tropical, temperate, and desert houses. Many of the species are now part of active breeding programmes controlled by studbooks in co-operation with European and International organisations. Picnic areas, cafe, gifts and play area.
Chipping Campden is the archetypal Cotswold Village – mellow yellow stone houses, thatched roofs, an ancient market hall, a beautiful parish church (St James) and nowadays a good sprinkling of antique shops, craft galeries and plenty of places to eat and drink well.
